The Croatia Diaries: Split Edition

Sometimes a holiday with the girls is all you need and if you’re looking for the perfect blend of sun, wellness, beautiful beaches and good food then Croatia needs to be the trip that leaves the group chat!

We honestly had the best time so we thought we’d put together a little Croatia diaries, starting with Split. If you’re a girl that loves to do a little bit of everything then I think you’ll like this one.

Mornings in Split

Slow mornings are our favorite kind of mornings, they were spent sipping iced coffee and watching the world go by at Kava2. Kava actually have another coffee shop in Hvar which is also absolutely gorgeous. This one in Split is nested in the city with deep history surrounding it and is the perfect spot pre hot girl hike (get an extra shot if you’re hiking girlies). We did also try Ciri Biri and we can confirm it is worth all the hype!! A gorgeous gorgeous brunch spot situated in a charming courtyard, nestled in the heart of Splits old town.

Let’s talk about the HOT GIRL HIKE!!

This is a MUST if you’re visiting split, we hiked up to the viewpoint Vidikovac and were blown away by the views. It’s a sweaty one but so worth it! It was definitely one of those pinch me moments.

Afternoons in Split

Ok girls, you’re going to be hungry after the hike so make sure you head straight to MakaMaka for your protein fix. There are so many poke bowls and protein acai shakes to choose from, we were in poke heaven.

Evenings in Split

Dvor, a restaurant we loved and is definitely one for the sunset chasers. It is a little bit more fancy than some of the other restaurants on the island but the sunset is so beautiful here. The dessert at Dvor did look amazing but there is just something so magical about ending your evening with a little stroll through the mazy streets of Split’s Old Town, on the hunt for gelato. We found a small Italian-style ice cream shop called Gelateria Emiliana. Whether you fancy something fruity, something nutty or just a classic chocolate, Gelateria Emiliana has it all.

We hope this gives you some inspo for your trip to Split!

Lots of love, therhiclub xoxo
